South of Asheville, three parks- Hominy Creek River Park, Bent Creek River Park and Glen Ridge River Park- boarder the French Broad River along N.C. Highway 191 and offer easy access. The Ledge River Park is north of Asheville off N.C. Highway 251. Here is where the river water really picks up speed.
